Pretty amazing Dairy Queen. No food sold, just ice cream. They sell Hawaiian Blizzards. Very cool place.

Staff was friendly Order was correct and tasted pretty good, but I forgot their nuts aren't kept very fresh. This time they weren't as bad s last time. My first visit the nuts were chewy and gross, ended up tossing it cause I was afraid I was gonna get sick. This time they were soft, but not chewy yet. Still kinda gross, but good enough to still eat. Outside plenty of parking & I LOVE the retro look

A Southern Illinois tradition! A roadside DQ (only sells ice cream treats, no food) right on the downtown strip of Carbondale. You get your treat, sit on the sidewalk and enjoy the prime people watching in the beautiful weather. Can't beat it.

DQ has always been hands down my absolute favorite ice cream outside of my Dad's homemade from at least the second thick snow of the season. This DQ with its cute retro look has great treats and a look that will have u hungry for their sweet soft serve before u even glimpse the menu. Hope it's here as long as I am so that I may enjoy it with my family and friends for many more years to come.

This is not like a regular Dairy Queen because they don't serve anything but ice cream and Orange Julius. But it's a cute little walk-up stand. They have the chocolate dip cones, hot fudge, sundaes, and blizzards.

I love that this is a little stand. However, every time we have gone for the last two years the ice cream is already melted when they had it to me. They cannot turn the blizzards upside down because they are too runny. Update: May 2022 it looks like they got their machines fixed/adjusted. The blizzards are firm.
